If you are taking a vacation week, please turn in your slip to me before you go. FACTS will go ahead and take the tuition out of your account if we do not know ahead of time to stop the payment for that week.

Swing Into Learning

The children have enjoyed the good night song this week. They have asked several times to turn out the lights so they can see the lights in the cave. We are moving on to the letter "Oo" and introducing the number "8." Our theme will be based on the ocean. Our Bible time will be based on the story of Peter walking on water.

Flat Stanley

You will hear more about this project when it gets closer to the date. I wanted you all to start brain storming who you would like to send your Flat Stanley too.

Re-Enrollment Packets

Please fill out the paper work with the deposit and turn in as soon as possible. The slots for K-4 fill up quickly, and most of the time we have a waiting list.  

Valentine's Day

It's right around the corner. Each child will need to bring in a decorated box with slit on top. This could be a cereal box, shoe box, or postage box. (this is something you all can do as a family) Each child will need to bring in valentine cards (it may have candy) to put in each child's box. The list of names for the class is located on the red side of the web page. Place each child's name on the cards, this helps the children recognize names. Sign-up sheet will be out soon for the party items.

**Please be aware that we have a child who is allergic to peanuts**

Scholastic

The children love getting mail sent to the classroom. All you have to do is go online to scholastic.com/bookclubs and sign in under the parent page and enter the code GLQHX. You may pay for your books then, and they will be sent to our classroom. This also helps the classroom as well  to receive free books.
