What's going on in May:

The ABC Countdown: 

This week:

Monday:  "P"...... pink, purple, or plaid day.... also popcorn day! 

Tuesday:  "R".....Red Day!

Wednesday:  "S".....Show and tell Day:  Bring one item (not a toy) to show and tell about.  Also sidewalk chalk day! 

Thursday:  "T"..... Toy day:  Bring your favorite toy!  (only one please!) 

Friday:  "U"..... Ultimate play day/ video day!  This day speaks for itself. 

Please continue reviewing parts for the program.  Work with them on really speaking out.  Our dress rehearsal will be Wednesday, May 23. It's very important to have their costume this day so we can make necessary adjustments for costuming.

 Important Dates to Remember:

May 23:  Dress Rehearsal

May 28:  No School (Memorial Day)

May 29:  K-4 End of the Year Program at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. 

May 30:  End of the year party at MONKEY JOE'S!  Permission slips were sent home.  Please send them back to school with the $9.00 as soon as possible.  Thank you so much! 

What we are learning this week:

Weekly Bible Verse: "The Lord is good to all."  Ps. 145:9

 Phonics:  Reviewing vowels and consonants.  Please work at home on their blends:  ba, be, bi, bo, bu.......  

 Math:  Reviewing numbers 1 - 20  Also, counting 1-100.

 Handwriting:  Working on blends and words / Numbers 1-20
