Feb 6 - Feb 10

/files/TeacherPageFiles/PoeNancy/images/herat.png

On Tuesday, Feb. 14 we will be having our Valentine's Day party.  It will be during our morning snack time which is at 9:30.  I will be putting a sign-up sheet on the door in a few days so please be looking for it.  Also, we will be exchanging valentine's earlier that morning. In order for things to go more smoothly, please do not put a name in the "TO" spot.  Have your child write his name on the "FROM" spot. Please send in a medium-sized gift bag for your child to collect their valentines.  They can decorate it at home if you like.

Don't forget to sign up for daycare if you will be needing it during our winter break.

Reading time has been going great.  I am so pleased with the progress of the children. Please have them read to you when they take their books home.

Because of the individual Phonics time, the children are doing more independent work.  Handwriting (forming letters correctly and staying in the lines) has also become more important. When the papers come home, please review them with your child. Reinforcement is always beneficial :-)

Classroom supplies needed:  Treasure box items.  Thank you Jackson's mommy for some items for our treasure box and wipes.  Thank you Austin's mommy for the wipes, pencils, and erasers!!!
