AR Information

Each month, students will be required to read at least 4 AR books and take a quiz over each book.  Each quiz is worth 25 reading points, which is a total of 100 points each month.  At the end of each month they will receive their AR points.  They may take more than 4 quizzes each month, I will count the highest scores for the reading grade.  Our class’s quizzes will be due on our library day.  The student will check an AR book out of the library each week.  The child can read the book silently, read it to you, you read it to them, or do all three!  The goal is to help the child comprehend what they read.  I do have a few AR books in the classroom that the student can check out if they would like to do some extra reading or they may read any AR books you have at home.  The computer does not allow students to take a test on any books that they have tested on in the past.
