Fifth Grade "End of the Year" Party

May 31

The 5th Grade class will be having their 5th grade Party at Thunder Alley Bowling! That morning they will enjoy bowling, arcade, and pizza together! The cost is $10!(registration form below) There is a 6th Grade Orientation Meeting with Mr. Tucker at 1:30 in the Library on this day! Feel free to take your child from the bowling alley or come at 1:30 to attend this informative meeting!

Parents, Have you tried to complete the Activities???

I have created a fun yet challenging activity using the interactive site on history.com. The students will complete all three, 1 per week. We will use laptops supplied by our Mobile Lab, but students will need to complete at home. Please use this time to make your students research ("dig deep")! You can do them too!   • Students are required to listen to class lectures and fill in some summary notes about the lesson for the day! The theme will be reviewed daily in order for God to show us areas of change in our personal lives.
  • Homework: Students will write their memory passage a couple of times a week!(Refer to the Verse List link.)

  • Chapter 11 and 12- Cold War and The 21st Century!
  • Students are required to listen to class lectures and take notes over material read or lectured in the classroom. The majority of notes given will be copied from a LCD projector that posts chapter notes, including pictures, maps, and ideas that support the topic.
  • Homework: Students will need to review pages and notes that are covered each week! Students will have to complete workbook pages and some activities! Projects come throughout the year- some in-class and some due at a specific time.
  • Projects: Projects are listed to the left. They will be updated as they are given out in class.
  • The Mimio Interactive Toolbar is used in class to make lessons more hands on!
  • Review games are added on our Thursday Review Day!

  • Homework: Students will need to review pages and notes that are covered each week! Studetns will have to complete Comprehension Checks, worksheets, and experiments! Projects come throughout the year!
  • Experiment Day: Fridays
