Middle School Crews Middle School Crew competition is composed of 5 C's 1. Community Service: The students will do several small and 2 large scale outreach programs in our surrounding counties each school year. Our focus is training our young people to show an attitude of Christ in being servant minded and helping those in need. 2. Conduct: Each month a record of conduct points is tabulated focusing on the positive element of not receiving violations at school. All student points are added together to equal an overall total for each separate crew. 3. Chapel: Each Thursday chapel students will compete in a Bible game to earn points for their crew. This is an exciting way to challenge our minds with some neat Biblical facts. 4. Crew Calls: Crew calls are unannounced game and competition times. On any given day, the crews could be called out of their classrooms to meet on the field or in the gym to participate in a quick crazy challenge. The winning students will earn points for their crew. 5. CCC: Crazed Crew Competition times are announced competition days to meet in the gym or on the field for a full hour of fun. The winning grade of our year long crew competiton will receive a day out of school with a paid event at Wild Water and Wheels in Surf Side Beach! Calling all parents! We strive to make middle school exciting and fun to accent the challenging academic school schedule. I will need help in many big events that we will have for our students throughout the year. If you have a chance to help in any of these events, please leave me a message by phone or email. Your involvement is crucial to the success of our program and greatly appreciated.
High School Student Life: GOAL The purpose of the GOAL program is to expose our student's Globally to brothers and sisters in Christ who are reaching lost souls, as mandated in the New Testament's Great Commission. In addition to sharing in these world-wide missions, the program provides Outreach opportunities for students to minister both spiritually and physically to our "neighbors" in Wilmington, as demonstrated by Jesus and His disciples. To promote school spirit, class unity, and positive, clean fun, numerous Activities throughout the school year will create a year-long competition. To allow our students to use their God-given talents for His glory. Leadership options will be presented so students can excel in their service at WCA. |
