VACATION SLIPS If you are taking a vacation week, please turn in your slip to me as soon as possible to avoid having the tuition taken out of your account. In order for the tuition not to be removed from your account, we need vacation dates ahead of time. |
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 COME ABOARD THE WCA 'FRIEND'SHIP!
Our school year is nearing an end and what a fun year it has been. We will be having several special days to accompany our themes for the weeks to come: May 23 will be sunglasses day May 30 will be beach ball day Please participate! It is so much fun for the children when we have these special days!
End of the year party will be June 30th at 11:00. You will be contacted soon by our Room Mom, as to how you can help with the party.
1. Use walking feet 2. Listen and follow directions 3. Be kind and respectful to friends 4. Be quiet in hallways 5. Take care of our toys and our school
INCENTIVE & DISCIPLINE PROGRAMS Club of the Week: A treat is given each day at afternoon snack to each child who has followed the rules of good behavior for the day.
Bugs on the Leaf: Three different color bugs are used to define behavior of the day. Each child starts the day with a yellow bug that rests on a leaf. Following good behavior keeps the yellow bug from falling off its leaf. A yellow bug earns a child a trip to the "Bug Garden" for a small prize. The bug earned by your child will be placed in his/her folder each day attached to a brief note of your child's day. Below is a short description of each color of bug: Yellow Bug: Sunny Day! Great day, no problems, or spoken to no more than twice about the same behavior. Green Bug: Spoken to at least three times for not following rules or directions, talking or disruptive behavior in group or hallway, running in room or hallway, out of seat continuously. Red Bug: Hard day, continuing to disobey rules or directions, or being unkind to friends as hitting, spitting, biting, pinching, or pushing them down.
