Together we can truly make a difference!
Why Support WCA?
Whether you are a parent, grandparent, friend or alumni of Wilmington Christian Academy, we want your association with WCA to last a lifetime. WCA is an amazing place, and our staff is here to serve you. Our office is committed to building the assurance of annual and long-term financial support for WCA. Maintaining and expanding the quality of our programs and facilities at Wilmington Christian Academy is essential, and you, our friends, are some of our greatest assets.
WCA relies on the enthusiastic support from its families, faculty, staff, alumni and our many friends across the country. Gifts to WCA embody their commitment in a meaningful and tangible way. Giving signifies confidence in Wilmington Christian as a school worthy of support. Whether large or small, every gift to Wilmington Christian Academy makes a difference in the lives of our students. Your gift ensures that teachers and programs have the resources they need to provide WCA students with an exceptional education that develops the whole student -mind, body and spirit.
Gifts to WCA are tax deductible. If you would like to make a gift, please contact Barren Nobles at (910) 791-4248, extension 111.
The Annual Fund
By giving to the Annual Fund, you are able to make an impact on every aspect of school life-academics, athletics, fine arts and technology. Each year, our Annual Fund is essential because it supports the entire school, PK3 through 12th grade.
The Annual Fund exists to help bridge the financial gap between what is covered by tuition and the actual cost of education and activities offered at WCA. With your support, we continue to hire the best teachers, and offer outstanding academic, athletic, fine arts and spiritual programs that provide our children a well-rounded, balanced education while keeping costs down.
Every gift is appreciated – no gift is too small. Please help WCA continue to be one of the best private schools in the southeast by donating to the Annual Fund. Your contribution will enrich our programs and help our school continue to be the best environment in which children can excel and reach their full, God-given potential.
Your tax-deductible gift can move us closer to the goal of funding critical initiatives not covered in the WCA operating budget. If you have not done so already, won’t you consider a gift to help support special projects/programs at WCA?
To learn more about these and more opportunities to support WCA, please contact Director of Development & Alumni Relations, Shanda Bordeaux firstname.lastname@example.org ext. 5512
Simple Ways to Support WCA
There are two unchanging facts of family life: 1) families consume a variety of products, and 2) those products must be purchased.
As you live out these two facts of life, here are several ways you can generate funds for WCA at no additional cost to you. It all comes out of company profits that are set aside for community outreach. Remember, this type of fundraising helps to provide our teachers with state of the art teaching tools, helps to keep our tuition low, and ultimately helps to provide our students with the highest quality of education.

Used and Worn-out Shoes
Yes, you read that correctly, used and worn-out shoes. This is proof that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
We are looking for lady’s and girl’s worn-out shoes, the more worn, the better. We receive money from a company that performs product research on which part of the shoe “wears out” first. The best shoes for the research are dress shoes and dress flats, but any shoe is helpful.
When donating your used shoes, please bag each pair of shoes with the names of the wearers attached. The researchers track wear patterns and style changes over time from the same individuals. If you are uncomfortable attaching the names, just place them in bags.
