WCA Patriot Club

For over 50 years, Wilmington Christian Academy (WCA) has been one of the premier Christian schools in the Wilmington area. While the exceptional education provided by the dedicated faculty of the school is a large part of that success, another part stems from the successful athletic program that has grown along with the school. But this road to success cannot be embarked on by the school alone. 

The Patriot Club is organized and administered by supporters of WCA athletics. It shares the vision of the athletes, faculty, staff, and parents to encourage the continued success of our athletic program for years to come. We currently have 26 athletic teams at Patriot Nation and the Patriot Club supports every one of them. WCA Athletics engages more than 50% of our student body and has brought 14 state championships to our school in the last 10 years, 6 of those being in the last 5 years.  Most recent Patriot Club projects include: 

• Gym Concessions Remodel

• Covered Soccer Benches 

• New dugouts on baseball field

• Resurface of baseball field with installation of warning track

• Volleyball Hitting Machine

• Basketball Shooting Machine

• Senior Banners (Gym)

• Installation of Video Equipment in Gym, Soccer and Baseball Field

• Cheer Flags for use during Cheer Competitions & Games

• New L-Screens & Square Screens for Baseball Field & Cage

• Running Trail maintained for Cross Country Team

• New Signage in Gym
